The executive producer Marty Stratton says the delay has enabled the remedy of a ton of more bugs.
Under all the delays in the past week is ID software doom EWIG is one of the titles that are on the right track. A new story trailer highlighted the explosive action and the great production values that determine the experience. However, this point would probably have not been achieved without being postponed from November 2019 to March 2020.
The executive producer Marty Stratton recently talked to VG247 over the same. I say it's the best game we've ever done. I do not think I would say that if we did not have this extra time. The game was done, we have nothing added, but [the delay] has allowed us to fix a ton of more mistakes.
This allowed us to polish the back-end systems often, harden and we carry out tests wherever we consult external employees. We have created a few extra versions of it and expanded the game a few times by balancing things and repaired a few exploits.
The pressure was pretty high last year - Stratton announced that the developer team has crashed mostly hard in the last year mostly. It's in phases. We will have a group of people who grind, so that the next group of people is properly strapped. When you're done, you may need to crunch a bit.
We really try to respect the time and life of people. We have very dedicated people who in many cases simply decide to work a lot. It was nice because we want the game to be perfect. We want it to meet our expectations and expectations of consumers.
We work very hard and we will invest additional time. Sometimes, if we only have the extra time, we still do it because we want it so much better. [A delay] reduces the steam and pressure a little, but it is almost one of the things we make it even more difficult to become even more closely, so closely it only works.
That sounds pretty in line with cyberpunk 2077's development. Despite the delay from initial publication on September, CD project reduced red that the developers would have to work extra hours to make sure everything is up to date. While a delay can lead to a better game or not, there is still hundreds of developers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
