SGB Shogun says he learned a lot from Gumayusi in the MSI 2022

Saigon Buffalos MSI 2022 Rumble Stage run certainly had a bumpy start today when the VCS representative went 0-2. The team, which was emphasized for its exciting, aggressive style of play, may have made it through the first round of this year's tournament, but it already learns on the hard tour that the level in this phase of the competition for an order of magnitude is higher than that, what it has already experienced.

Nevertheless, Saigon Buffalo showed some solid play moments all day, especially against PSG Talon, where it almost turned the tide in the middle of the game. However, it shouldn't be, because the PCS representative took the victory home. The defeat against Evil Geniuses was definitely a less flattering affair.

After the games, Saigon Buffalo Young Gun Nguyễn 'Shogun' Văn Huy spoke with The PC Player 24 about the team's performance on the first day, from whom he learned the most and what he thinks the team has to do to get back to the legs get.

Shogun, thank you for coming to me today. I just want to start experiencing your opinion about the games you played today and how you and the team felt, even though you couldn't completely take the victories home.

"I personally feel pretty bad because of our achievements, but we have actually learned a lot and will try to correct our mistakes and come back even more tomorrow."

If you think of the findings, what are some of the largest that you and the team have taken from MSI 2022 so far?

“I personally learned more about how to have a better laning phase. As a team, we learned more about the organization of our macros and developed our understanding of the play styles of the other regions. ”

Are there certain players from whom you have learned a lot?

"I actually learned a lot from Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-Hyeong, both in terms of his playing style and on how to do a laning phase."

What are some of the things you took from Gumayusis Laning and the entire game?

“So there are a few things I have learned. The first is how to organize a fight in the 2V2 track. The second is how to keep positions in the team fight and change. And thirdly, he has some very good tricks [up his sleeve] to win the trail. ”

Speaking of Gumayusi, you have two big games against T1 and G2 tomorrow. What do you think the team has to bring with you to take the victory home?

BẢNG XẾP HẠNG TOP 6 MSI 2022: SGB HẠNG 32 THẾ GIỚI? T1 HẠNG 1?

"I think we will try to surprise you with some very strange tips that will disturb your gameplay."

I look forward to seeing her! This is her first international competition and he came into your career so early - what does it mean for you to be here at MSI?

"I am very grateful for this experience and want to play really well and be welcomed by the fans - both by the Korean fans and the international community."

The bot-lane pool here at MSI is much wider than in the regular season in which we saw many Aphelios and Jinx. What do you think about the bot-lane meta?

“I have the feeling that the current meta in the bot Lane has many champions to choose from - so I think that's great. There are many champions that may also enable me to outdo my opponents. ”

With a view to the future, patch 12.10 will increase the durability of the League champions. What do you think about the 12.10 and what does it mean for Botlaner?

"I personally have the feeling that the new 12.10 meta will not influence my position so much, because as long as we can position ourselves well and continue to do damage, I think that we will be fine."

** Last question: Do you think that, as you are now and with what you have learned so far, you would win back to VCS and repeat GAM this spring finals, would you win?

“I have the feeling that we will be an even stronger team after this MSI. And that will enable us to make a reserve against GAM, in which in my opinion we will win against you. ”
