ForSpoken offers on the PS5 raytracing and individual haptic feedback for the spells
The current console generation comes so slowly. Although most new games still appear for last gene devices, but the Unreal Engine 5 demo in the Matrix Universe shows us what would be possible on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. A game that could offer a similar graphics power in a finished product is foreseen by Square Enix. The publisher revealed some details about the technology of action role-playing game.
Foreskin comes with ray tracing, but that has a price
As with so many other titles for the new consoles, we must also decide on foreseen for a mode in which we want to play.
Yes, that means there is no 4K resolution at 60 fps, but at least we have the choice. A Retracing option is also available — which restrictions we need to accept for the complex technology is not yet known. Here is an overview with the graphics modes:
Performance: 1440p, 60 fps Resolution: 4K, 30 fps Retracing: 1440p, 30 fps (estimated)
OPEN-WORLD draws resources: The addressed matrix demo offers 4k and ray tracing, but is already going to jerking, especially if you drive a car. In addition, the environment is relatively limited. For example, foreseen will provide a real open-world, and such a game world is already quite expensive. In addition, the environment and the magic effects look very impressive. Perhaps some linear games will create the desirable 4K / 60 in the future on the PS5.
The optics of Forsaken can be admired by the Game Awards in the latest trailer:
Cool danseuse features thanks to PlayStation exclusivity
Apropos Spell: Square promises us that everyone of Frey's says do not just look different but should feel different (via unlike):
We have haptic feedback integrated for the adaptive triggers when used the different types of magic. There are a lot of different spells, and the designers have worked hard to ensure that the feedback of the controller feels different.

Forsaken: The Open World Game for PS5 leaves us on us twice
Of course, we can feel spells, we owe the DANSEUSE controller of the PS5, which can simulate different surfaces and structures with his haptic feedback. How concrete could feel different have already shown other titles. For example, the Rumble function is where we ignite a torch in Demon's Soul. On the other hand, Frey shoots an ice-inheart style, it could give a short but hard buckler. Whether melee or ranging, in foreseen it seems to give the right magic for every purpose.
Forsaken appears on May 24, 2022 (console) exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
