Redbox does not wear a game rental


Another rental option is gone.

There are not many ways to rent video games. With the death of stationary rental shops such as blockbusters and the lack of digital breeze, which resemble films like Amazon Prime or iTunes, there are many opportunities for someone to try a game before buying. And unfortunately it seems a little less.

Redbox announced that after this year, no game rental is offered more on machines and in regions where the service is located. The remaining stock of titles can still be bought, but as soon as they are no longer available, Redbox is excreted from the video game business.

With Redbox you could borrow many of the latest games for just a few dollars a night. It was often not enough time to finish a title, but it was a great way to try something before decided to buy it or not. Now Gamefly, the mail order trade, the only way to borrow video games in a large style. There are also services like Game Pass, which can meet many of the same purposes. For RedBox, this is not an option more for players.
