Metroid Prime 4 Studio Recrits Battlefield, Art Director of Mirror's Edge
Retro studios bring more and more talents.
Retro studios have been a busy studio for about a year after they have taken over the studio Metroid Prime 4 project and completely new launched the development of the game from scratch. The beginning of this project went hand in hand with a recruiting offensive for the studio with heiligenlight veteran Kyle Hefley, which has recently encountered as lead character artist to you Metroid Prime 4.
Now the studio has attracted another artist. Jhony Ljungstedt, formerly EA DICE, has recently confirmed LinkedIn that he is switched from the EA DICE Blachtfeld Studio and has now joined retro. As Ljungstedt's profile shows, he was at DICE for 12 years. During this time he worked on several major projects, including as a kind of director for several games, including _schlachtfeld 5, honor medal, mirror edge catalyst, _ and more.
Metroid Prime 4 is currently under development for the Nintendo Switch, but currently has no publication date. Recent reports have shown that retro may outsource some of the ambient work of the game. Read more about that here.
Meanwhile, however, Metroid Prime 4 Probably it is still a while until we will see more of the series in the near future. Leading Nintendo could prepare for the publication of a 2D version Metroid game for the switch this year.
