Insurgency: Sandstorm: Coming soon on PS4 & Xbox One; With extended downward compatibility for PS5 & Series

After multiple shifting, the console implementations of Insurgency: Sandstorm (from 26,99 € at buy) on September 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One appear, as Focus Home Interactive has made known. Three editions can also be pre-ordered:

_ Pre-order from insurgency: Sandstorm can purchase the Deluxe version or the Gold Edition and thus gain access to the Warlord Gear Set and the PeaceMaker Gear Set. The Deluxe Edition also includes the year 1 pass, while the Gold Edition additionally the year 2 pass Includes. Each pass includes 16 cosmetic item sets for each year with the year 2 passport immediate access to four items. _

After the original was released on Steam almost three years ago, developers New World Interactive has constantly developed the game and supplemented by additional content. Thus, u.a. night vision devices and corresponding scenarios are included in the dark. On which the implementations have been to their publication and whether upcoming content on all platforms should be published at the same time, however, does not emerge from the press release.

Focus only indicates that the title will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series thanks to its downward compatibility and will run on these consoles with 60 frames per second. For PS4 and Xbox ONE, this does not seem to apply, while for PS5 and Series further improvements are planned, which should be published 2022.

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a fast, tactical shooter with a comparatively realistic representation of weapons and handling as well as an impressive acoustics. A real campaign does not contain the game, but numerous cooperatively playable, optional very demanding missions as well as different PVP variants.
